Key Financial Leadership Role

This is a highly impactful and dynamic leadership position for an experienced finance professional who will drive strategic financial planning, execution, and optimization across various business functions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The successful applicant will lead all aspects of the company's financial accounting, reporting, and compliance while overseeing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions, ensuring accurate reconciliations, timely invoicing, collections, and supplier management. Additionally, they will manage cash flow forecasting and treasury to support business growth, coordinate monthly management reporting packs, and provide financial insights and decision support to leadership.

  • Lead all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Oversee AR and AP functions, ensuring accurate reconciliations, timely invoicing, collections, and supplier management.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury to support business growth.
  • Coordinate monthly management reporting packs, providing financial insights and decision support to leadership.

The right individual will have a proven track record in financial management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. They will also be passionate about mentoring and supporting junior accounting staff to build a high-performing finance function.

About You

Demonstrated experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role within a services, healthcare, or tech-enabled business.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, AR/AP management, and payroll.

Proven experience with Xero and advanced use of Excel/financial modelling tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

A proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded leader with a passion for driving business growth and improvement.
