Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and support initiatives that aim to improve heart health in Australia.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading organization that funds heart health research, supporting projects that drive innovation and progress in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate funding application reviews annually within agreed parameters.
  • Manage grant review committees and provide secretariat support.
  • Work with the research team to coordinate and implement annual research grants funding calendars.
  • Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including academics and funding agencies.
  • Draft reports and ensure funding guidelines are up to date.
  • Provide induction for new researchers.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in program coordination and administration, preferably in a health or research setting.
  • Ability to plan and manage an annual work cycle.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data management systems.
  • Understanding of research governance and compliance.
