Key Responsibilities:
- We are seeking an experienced Demand and Inventory Coordinator to join our Supply Chain and Logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling inventory and logistics to meet Service and Sales targets.
The role involves developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts for machines and spare parts using data analysis and statistical tools. You will also analyse historical sales, market trends, seasonality, and inventory data to create and adjust forecasts.
Additionally, you will maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer and business requirements while avoiding excess stock. This includes coordinating the release and communication of demand and supply plans to relevant stakeholders.
You will work closely with supply planning, repair centres, and service teams to ensure inventory availability and alignment with operational needs. Your contributions will help drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes, tracking forecast accuracy, and participating in supply chain projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain and Logistics preferred
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Solid sales planning and opportunity management experience
- Proven ability to analyse data and trends to forecast demand accurately
- Proficiency in managing effective inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points
- Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software (e.g., Oracle JDE, SAP or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- High degree of proficiency in Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective stakeholder management ability
- Deadline-focused with a proactive and positive approach to work and tasks
- High level of professionalism
- Ability and willingness to operate as an integral team member to achieve business objectives
