We are Bis Industries, a leading provider of underground hire equipment and services in Australia's coal mining industry.

**Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Planning and Technical Services team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining essential planning tools that drive our long-term success.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop Strategic Plans: Create and maintain the master plan across all time horizons, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Capital Forecast Modeling: Conduct scenario analysis and modeling to guide business decisions and optimize resource allocation.
  • Business Case Development: Assist in developing business cases to support sound investment planning and ensure resource efficiency.
  • Performance Reporting: Create and present planning performance reports to drive continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and compliance within our CMMS system, supporting accurate forecasting and decision making.

**What You'll Need**

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in asset management and lifecycle costing.
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in Power BI and JDE a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and strong communication abilities.

**Estimated Salary:** $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
