Senior Laboratory Production Scientist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Production Scientist to lead our production team and drive the development of new Quality Control (QC) materials. This senior role requires a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation in production processes while mentoring junior scientists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead laboratory scientists, provide training, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Research and Development: Drive innovation in novel QC material development, plan, pilot work, and transition successful prototypes to full production.
  • Advanced Project Coordination: Manage complex contract-production projects with clear communication, supplier coordination, and oversee the entire production process from start to finish.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for production and post-production testing, guide troubleshooting complex issues as they arise.
  • Quality Control and Production Oversight: Oversee precise laboratory production processes aligning with high standards.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in laboratory production, quality control, and product development with leadership expertise.
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or related field with several years of experience in pathology (biochemistry, endocrinology) or IVD industry.
  • Proven expertise in laboratory production techniques, extensive experience in post-production testing and troubleshooting, and strong leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail with proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
