Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a Material Coordinator to ensure the proper handling of all materials entering and leaving our manufacturing facility. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and supporting the delivery of life-changing products for patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that materials are accurately handled, recorded, and stored correctly.
  • Maintain storage areas effectively.
  • Manage inventory of clean room garments and coordinate with contractors for maintenance of supplies.
  • Monitor inventories at an acceptable level in stores area for Biomanufacturing and Regen usage.
  • Record incoming materials in stock management system SYBIZ.
  • Update stock movements in SYBIZ.
  • Collect and record stock required to be passed through into clean room and QC laboratory.
  • Support manufacturing with cleaning and passing through of stock.
  • C Coordinate waste removal.
  • Clean and monitor stores equipment (refrigerators, freezers).
  • Monitor material quality and report non-conformances and reject substandard materials.
  • Review, revise, and create procedures as required.
  • Initiate and participate in change control as needed.
  • Perform routine stocktakes and participate in annual audits.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Implement Lean management tools to optimize materials handling and storage processes.
  • Ensure adequate materials are supplied to pericardia supplier(s) to meet harvest and delivery schedules.
  • Accompany untrained staff and contractors through Stores as required.

Logistics Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with QC to arrange packing and dispatch of samples for testing.
  • Support Inventory and Logistics Coordinator duties as needed.
  • Pack product for dispatch.
  • Prepare temperature loggers for LeMaitre, ALR, 4C and Harvey Beef shippers.

Training and Development:

  • Participate in ongoing training to maintain skills and knowledge.
  • Complete GMP training annually.
  • Contribute to trainer duties.
