Internal Audit Officer Job Opportunity

This is a short-term assignment requiring an Internal Audit Officer. The contract duration is 3 months, with possible extension.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Manager Internal Audit, conduct internal audits, and undertake analysis of financial and non-financial data.

Key responsibilities involve formulating recommendations for improvements to systems and procedures following audits, conducting discussions relating to proposed audit findings, and preparing audit findings.

The ideal candidate should possess sound written and verbal communication skills, developed numeracy skills, and sound interpersonal and public relations skills.

Prior experience in a public sector organization or auditing/internal audit firm is desirable but not essential.

A minimum bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or other business-related disciplines is required. The successful applicant will be expected to complete postgraduate and continuing professional development programs to achieve membership of the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia or CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
