Position Overview

We are seeking an SMSF Accountant/Auditor with at least 3 years of experience in an accounting practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SMSF regulations, financial reporting, and audit procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct SMSF audits in accordance with compliance standards.
  • Prepare and review SMSF financial statements and tax returns.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address SMSF queries and provide advisory services.1
  • Ensure all work meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or audit practice.
  • At least 1 year of SMSF experience within your accounting practice background is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of SMSF regulations and compliance requirements.
  • CPA/CA qualification (or working towards it) is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Valid work rights in Australia are required, with all valid work visas accepted.
