This role is based in Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Your key responsibilities include managing audit engagement by defining audit strategy, executing it in compliance with policies and protocol, effectively managing audit process with consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters, leading and managing fieldwork on clients' sites, expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and financial reporting matters.

Skills and attributes for success include proficiency in Mandarin for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients, SOX or PCAOB experience, proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements, experience leading planning, execution and reporting on audits.

Ideally, you'll also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a collaborative approach to management, at least 5 years' experience as an auditor, a strong academic record including a degree and progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent.
