
Transport Operations Manager

We are seeking a Transport Operations Manager to oversee daily fleet operations, ensure timely scheduling and allocation, and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, customers, and drivers.
This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive performance and excellence in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role- Oversight of daily fleet operations, including scheduling and allocation to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintenance of excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, drivers, and internal teams.
- Effective communication with drivers and customers regarding planning, runs, and delays.
- Proactive assessment and enhancement of operational efficiency.
- Management and monitoring of payroll, driver performance, leave entitlements, and truck servicing.
- Loading planning and optimization through analytical skills and resource management.
- Identification of opportunities to improve current processes and revenue margins through P&L accountability.
- Prior experience in a similar Fleet Controller or Allocator role within the Transport and Logistics industry.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S, CoR & NHVR legislation.
- SAP, MT DATA, WMS & TMS knowledge is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
