Trade Surveillance Product Manager

As a Trade Surveillance Product Manager within the Macquarie Compliance Division, you will be responsible for ensuring the Trade Surveillance system coverage and capabilities remain fit for purpose to meet regulatory requirements and internal risk assessments.
You will act as a key stakeholder in an agile environment, providing direction to aligned Technology squads by continuously defining and prioritising Trade Surveillance requirements in consultation with business surveillance teams, business compliance and business operational risk managers.
In this role, you will manage and maintain a prioritised backlog ensuring surveillance leads, business stakeholders, compliance and risk managers are fully informed of the Trade Surveillance product roadmap and Book of Work. You will also manage the day-to-day BAU operational support with incumbent trade surveillance platforms and troubleshoot across the global user base.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Trade Surveillance systems and their applications
- Collaborate with Technology squads to define and prioritise Trade Surveillance requirements
- Manage and maintain a prioritised backlog of Trade Surveillance features and fixes
- Provide technical guidance and support to surveillance leads, business stakeholders, compliance and risk managers
**Requirements:**
- Demonstrated 10 years' experience from a similar role within the banking and financial services industry
- Experience working in an agile environment, including driving technology squads and managing multiple stakeholders
- Prior experience in roadmap planning and prioritisation, with a focus on delivering maximum business value
- Self-direction with the ability to proactively identify and analyse problems, and propose viable solutions
**Benefits:**
- Estimated salary: AU$140,000 - AU$160,000 per annum
