About the Role

As a Trade Surveillance Expert within Macquarie's Risk Management Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the Trade Surveillance system coverage and capabilities remain fit for purpose to meet regulatory requirements and internal risk assessments.

This involves acting as a Product Owner within an agile environment, providing direction to aligned Technology squads by continuously defining and prioritising Trade Surveillance requirements in consultation with business surveillance teams, business compliance and business operational risk managers.

You will manage and maintain a prioritised backlog, ensuring surveillance leads, business stakeholders, compliance and risk managers are fully informed of the Trade Surveillance product roadmap and Book of Work.

In this role, you will also manage day-to-day BAU operational support with incumbent trade surveillance platforms and troubleshoot across the global user base.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated 10 years' experience from a similar role within the banking and financial services industry.
  • Experience working in an agile environment, driving technology squads and managing multiple stakeholders across all levels.
  • Prior experience in roadmap planning and prioritisation, understanding how to balance tactical and strategic work to deliver maximum business value.
  • Self-direction with the ability to proactively identify and analyse problems, and propose viable solutions.
