Job Description
- Procurement Officer
Our ideal candidate will have experience in procurement and possess a sound understanding of cost and stock control procedures. The role involves ensuring the accurate and timely production/release of purchase orders to suppliers, as well as reviewing planned expenditure against budget.
The successful applicant will be able to identify timelines required in the procurement of goods and services, work with department heads to obtain approval for all procurements, and manage cost and schedule variations including project approvals and issue of purchase order revisions.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure effective supply chain management
- Monitor MR/PR creation and process through to PO approvals
- Check integrity of data in RFS for conversion to Purchase Orders
- Provide ad-hoc analytics and fulfilling SAP data requests
- Review planned expenditure against budget
- Obtain approval for all procurements
