Food Production Operations Manager
Job Description:
The Food Production Operations Manager is a dynamic and hands-on leader responsible for shaping the production and logistics side of the business.
- Oversight of daily operations in a centralised food production facility, serving multiple high-volume stores.
- Management of a team of production staff across prep, baking, and dispatch - ensuring consistency, speed, and quality.
- Leadership of workforce planning, daily scheduling, and shift optimisation to meet demand across all locations.
- Development of processes and systems that improve workflow, product quality, and efficiency on the production floor.
- Maintenance of food safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards across the production floor.
- Collaboration with culinary and operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting, recipe consistency, and seamless handover to stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and utilisation of production or inventory management software.
- Coordination of deliveries across multiple store locations.
- Utilisation of data and platforms to monitor production output, streamline logistics, and enhance performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing centralised food production operations - preferably in QSR environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, train, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Deep understanding of kitchen workflows, batch production, and daily volume targets across multiple sites.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, quality, and building systems that support long-term success. They will be comfortable managing logistics and coordinating deliveries across multiple store locations.
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the production and logistics side of the business. You will take full ownership of a new facility while preparing operations for future expansions and the continued growth of the business.
