About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduler to join our team at Energy Queensland, supporting our renewable energy projects in SEQ. This is a permanent employment opportunity, and we welcome applications from experienced professionals.

About You

Critical to your success in this role is your proven experience and understanding of project controls in an engineering and project delivery capacity. You will have underlying knowledge and demonstrated experience of planning/scheduling software systems including but not limited to Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a schedule management service to key stakeholders, such as Project Managers and Project Directors in the required format (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project/Project Online).
  • Implement and maintain processes to collect schedule inputs to replicate project progress, resourcing, critical path and other key schedule metrics for a live, virtual replication of project activity.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports on project schedules that capture planned versus actuals, earned value, resourcing allocations, schedule progress, risks and other key criteria.
  • Work proactively with project, portfolio teams and project controls teams to obtain data in real time, updating schedules to reflect changes in time, cost and scope.

Essential Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Project Management, engineering (or related discipline) and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Certification in Primavera P6, MS Project and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Renewables/Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining and/or construction industry experience.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
  • 3-6 years of hands-on scheduling experience in large-scale construction projects.
