People Planning Lead, Technology Transformation

A 12-month opportunity has arisen for a skilled People Planning Lead to join the technology transformation team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and standardising job families, establishing and maintaining SFIA skills data systems, and collaborating with leaders to map career pathways and promote them across the department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing consistent job family structures, titles, and position descriptions
  • Establishing and maintaining a system for capturing, storing, and using SFIA skills data
  • Collaborating with leaders and people & culture to map career pathways and embed them into recruitment and performance processes
  • Aligning training programs with career paths and developing proposals for targeted skills development

As a strategic thinker, you will work closely with the transformation leader to ensure the operating model is aligned with business goals. You will be responsible for guiding discussions on future team structure, managing workforce changes, and coordinating people movements in partnership with people & culture.
