Your new role
Working as a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for the following below:
- Lead and support the planning, coordination, and delivery of transport projects.
- Contribute to the development of transport policies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
- Provide expert advice on transport matters and support project scoping, budgeting, and delivery.
- Prepare reports and briefings for senior leadership and community stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in transport planning.
What you'll need to succeed
You're a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a collaborative mindset. You bring:
- A tertiary qualification in transport planning, urban planning, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in transport planning, traffic engineering, or major transport projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver outcomes within scope and budget.
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally for site visits.
