Our client, an established industrial manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Production Planner to support their Assembly team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the production workflow runs smoothly, subcontract jobs are aligned with quality standards, and ERP data is maintained accurately.
You'll be the go-to person for subcontract planning, BOM management, and the day-to-day coordination between shop floor, engineering, and supply chain. With the Planning Supervisor on secondment, this is an excellent opportunity to step up and make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate subcontract production schedules and raise purchase/work orders
- Manage ERP data including BOMs, part master data, and planning parameters
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate production output
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling and supply chain admin
- 2-5 years experience in production planning or supply chain coordination
- Strong MS Excel & ERP (MS Dynamics 365 desirable)
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-focused with a proactive and accountable approach
