Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the logistics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth distribution of materials to site.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate work schedules and resolve any delays or obstacles.">
  • Plan 24 hours ahead the logistics of material distribution through internal means or outsourced services.">
  • Coordinate safe loading practices within the workshop and onto sub-contractors.">
  • Communicate with Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure all parties are informed about delivery schedules.">
  • Provide guidance and delegate tasks effectively to a small team of material handlers and fork-lift operators.">
  • Plan resources in advance to achieve DIFOT (Delivery In First Out).">
  • Maintain compliance with internal processing practices using state-of-the-art technology.">

Requirements:

">
  • A valid LF ticket (forklift).">
  • Experience in a similar logistics role.">
  • Experience operating a forklift with materials exceeding 12m in length.">
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.">
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.">
  • Excellent planning and contingency management skills.">
  • Knowledge of the steel industry is advantageous but not necessary.">
  • Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays.">
  • Proactive and determined leadership skills.">
  • Good computer skills.">
  • Adaptive and flexible approach.">
