Job Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

The Office Manager will play a critical role in managing various aspects, including procurement, office organization, IT support, fleet management, employee onboarding, accommodation and travel bookings, security, and building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage procurement of office supplies, equipment, furniture, and maintain cost-effective supplier relationships.
  2. Oversee company fleet, including maintenance, repairs, scheduling, and compliance with safety/registration requirements.
  3. Develop and implement office policies and procedures; provide administrative support to Executive Leaders and Directors.
  4. Provide IT support, including troubleshooting, procurement, upgrades, licensing, and hardware/software maintenance.
  5. Facilitate employee onboarding, including account setup, access permissions, equipment, and training.
  6. Arrange and manage staff travel and accommodation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policy.
  7. Implement office security protocols; oversee building maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and coordination with external providers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in office management or a related role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software support.
  • Familiarity with procurement and supplier management.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a well-organised office.
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
