We are seeking an experienced and skilled hospitality professional to fill the role of Banquet Service Supervisor.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banquets, conferences, and other events within the hotel. This will involve coordinating with various departments, including sales, marketing, and housekeeping, to ensure that all aspects of event planning and execution are carried out to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of banquet services, including staff supervision, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that all necessary equipment and materials are in place for events.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, as well as increase revenue and profitability.
  • Liaise with guests and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns related to events.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on event activities, including attendance, revenue, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end events environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
  • A strong understanding of hospitality operations, including event planning, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
