Project Scheduler Role

KBR is a global consulting business involved in exciting projects across various markets. We have an opportunity for a talented Senior Project Controller to join our team in Adelaide.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide planning and master scheduling services to clients across industries.
  • Apply risk management techniques, including risk register development, contingency planning, and management.
  • Collaborate with the Major Projects Manager to deliver resource management frameworks, processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Drive project compliance and governance standards for best practice requirements.
  • Manage project lifecycles, working with management and other team members to maintain budgets within tight timeframes.
  • Recommend cost control improvements, cost breakdowns, and commercial oversight to projects, in collaboration with the wider Project Controls team.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Controls as a scheduler/planner on major multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Experience with gated and milestone projects, variations, costs, and managing risk, including developing contingency allowances and management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.
  • Technical ability in MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and SharePoint is essential.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering, Project Management, or related construction discipline or considerable experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of industry best practices in project controls, including estimating, cost control, and planning/scheduling, for engineering services type projects.
