We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Finance Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to our clients, working closely with them to understand their financial goals and objectives, and determining the most suitable lending solutions for them.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct loan strategy meetings with customers to explore refinancing or new purchase opportunities.
- Educate customers on our value proposition and align their needs and objectives with suitable lenders.
- Workshop loan scenarios with lenders or business development managers to ensure appropriate lending solutions for customers.
- Manage a pipeline of customers from initial contact through to settlement.
- Contribute to driving positive business outcomes with directors and management.
- Attend professional development programs with industry bodies, lenders, and aggregators.
- Network with industry-related businesses to establish new referral partnerships and grow existing relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a lending role, preferably as a mortgage broker or credit assessor.
- Understanding of lending policy and loan structuring is essential.
- Established network of industry professionals is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, strong sales skills, numerically minded, and possess a problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively.
- Team player with a positive attitude, tenacity and finesse in dealings with lenders and clients.
