About this Role

Our ideal candidate will provide quality services and safeguards to individuals with disabilities, focusing on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful inclusion in society.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Bolster individual strengths and empower clients to achieve their goals.
  • Arrange community access and transportation for Participants.
  • Deliver domestic and personal care services.
Key Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of 12 months relevant experience.
  • A background working with clients transitioning into the community from the justice system.
  • Ongoing First Aid & CPR Certification.
  • NDIS worker screening check and Employee Working With Children Check.
  • A valid Driver's Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (desired).

Your Qualifications:

To succeed in this position, you will possess a Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification. Additionally, you should have at least 12 months of direct experience in the disability sector, preferably supporting individuals with complex needs.

Previous experience working with clients who have transitioned from the justice system will be highly regarded. A strong understanding of Person-Centred Practice principles and current legislation related to disability care is also essential.
