Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Learning and Development Officer to join our team at the Department for Human Services. As a key member of our Inclusion, Supports and Safeguarding Division, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering learning and professional development programs that support the growth and development of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver a program of induction, non-accredited learning initiatives, and customized workforce professional development solutions to support the Screening Unit staff in operating in a demanding and complex work environment.
  • Provide learning and professional development advisory services and solutions to the Screening Unit to further improve the culture, capability, and performance of the Unit.
  • Contribute to the development of a framework and procedures for engaging and on-boarding new staff.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as adult education, training and development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering learning and professional development programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
