We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Support Officer to join our team at the Department of State Development. Your primary objective will be to create compelling content that effectively engages across digital and media platforms, including social media, news media, websites, and video. You will work closely with our Senior Designer to develop and maintain promotional, marketing, or communication materials that meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in graphic design and a keen eye for detail. You should be highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and content management systems, with the ability to create high-quality design outputs.
You will be an organized and self-motivated individual who is able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. You will also be an excellent communicator and team player, with the ability to understand and meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
Key Selection Criteria- Proven graphic design knowledge and skills that ensure the effective and creative development, maintenance, and review of promotional, marketing, or communication materials across a range of different delivery modes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of print and online services, trends, and developments, and public relations, marketing, media, communications, promotions, and market research protocols.
- Highly developed skills using the Adobe Creative Suite programs to produce design solutions.
- Knowledge of SA Government branding, communication, and marketing policies and protocols, and of print production techniques and methods.
This is a competitive salary (ASO4 $76,561 min - $80,256 max pa) plus 11.5% superannuation. You will also be rewarded with a wide variety of benefits, including:

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have a portfolio submission alongside your application, showing your graphic design skills and experience. A relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Visual Art, or a related discipline is desirable.
You will also need to undergo a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment.
