We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Key Parts and Service Sales Professional to join our team at 9885 SMC Australia. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in identifying aftermarket parts and service sales opportunities for a major customer, driving revenue growth and building strong relationships.

About the Role

As a Key Parts and Service Sales Professional, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing allocated customer account relationships through effective account management. You will work closely with customers to understand their strategic requirements and provide value-added solutions from Sandvik.

You will focus on providing representation to a key customer at a higher level, with a greater emphasis on medium- to long-term goals for both our customer and Sandvik.

Responsibilities
  • Identify aftermarket issues and opportunities, acting as liaison with the customer through to completion.
  • Develop sales opportunities for all aftermarket products across Sandvik's product lines.
  • Perform gap analysis on existing fleets to identify sales opportunities.
  • Ensure achievement of agreed targets.
  • Liaise between customers and Sandvik on aftermarket issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Predictive parts forecasting by analysing customer maintenance strategies and planning to meet customer demand and expectations.
Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A mechanical trade qualification or mechanical aptitude.
  • The confidence to work underground and the capacity to travel up to 40% nationally.
  • A history of high achievement in customer support or account management environments.
