As a Senior Project Coordinator - Mining Projects, you will play a key role in supporting our project teams based in different countries.

About the Role

You will work closely with the Project and Construction Directors/Managers across various mining-related projects to ensure that all deliverables and activities are tracked to the required timelines. Your proactive approach and ability to drive desired outcomes will be essential in developing mitigation strategies where required to ensure efficiencies and the smooth execution and completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit projects to ensure continued compliance and validity of the schedule.
  • Provide input for adjustment and correction to those schedules found to be deficient.
  • Create training materials and provide training as required.
  • Work on the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to schedules to ensure timely completion.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in project scheduling within the EPC/EPCM industry. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in project scheduling.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
  • Excellent reporting on project progress and schedule performance.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
