About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Transformation Program Manager to join our team at Optus. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering data transformation and modernisation programs within the Optus IT Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and define program requirements through accurate establishment of customer expectations and analysis of business interests.
  • Define, detail, and document the scope and specifics of the program.
  • Analyse tasks and develop an accurate schedule to fulfill program results.
  • Identify, analyse, and refine program costs to produce a budget.
  • Monitor, review, and report program quality and results.
  • Identify and formulate a risk management plan for a program and assure program continuity.
  • Successfully manage business initiatives and senior business partner relationships.
  • Ensure customer experience parameters are driven to conclusion within programs.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification or equivalent in Business, IT, Engineering, or other aligned fields, complimented by professional certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience managing capital programs within the IT/Telecommunications or Financial Services sectors, with formal training in Project Management.
  • Demonstrated success in directly leading large, sophisticated data programs.
  • Consistent experience in successfully supporting a delivery team in matrix reporting environments.
  • Proven track record in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members; successfully supporting performance to achieve continuous improvement of team capabilities.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit.
