Job Title: Electrical Engineering Specialist

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled electrical engineering specialist to join our team. This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects, develop your skills, and contribute to project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and support to engineering teams.
  • Assist in estimating variation works and additional major scopes of work.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of drawings, project specifications, standards, and other requirements.
  • Interact with subcontractors and develop their network.
  • Conduct technical investigations and commissioning assistance as required.
  • Monitor and distribute inspection test reports (ITRs), review ITRs, and generate new ITR test packs to support quality objectives.
  • Enter data and test sheets into PIMS, monitor progress, and prepare reports.
  • Collate and construct electrical maintenance documents.
  • Redline mark-ups of drawings.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in electrical or electronics engineering.
  • 2+ years' experience as a graduate or cadet electrical engineer.
  • Experience on construction mining projects.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve objectives.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Broad theoretical job knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively in, and contribute to, a team of professionals.
  • Committed to maintaining a strong safety culture.
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • Pdf editor experience.
