Quality Assurance Engineer - Field Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee field operations, ensuring the quality of our projects is maintained at the highest level.

  • This includes developing and implementing quality assurance plans, conducting inspections and audits, and resolving quality issues.
  • You will be responsible for leading efforts to address design or engineering issues during construction and commissioning, collaborating with project management, design, and product teams to ensure practical, cost-effective solutions that meet requirements.
  • You will oversee field projects from start to finish, ensuring timely, within-budget, and quality-compliant completion, coordinating with project teams and stakeholders for seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement field quality assurance plans to ensure project compliance with industry regulations or best practices.
  • Conduct field inspections and audits to monitor the quality of work performed by field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues by coordinating with engineering and field teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Review and maintain project quality records.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and make recommendations to senior leadership as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or equivalent).
  • 3+ years in engineering, QA, or project management, with at least 1 year in PV or BESS projects.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, engineering standards, and regulations.
  • Experience managing field operations.
  • Certifications like Six Sigma or ISO 9001 are a plus.
  • ISO 9001 awareness and audit skills.
  • Experience with construction safety platforms (e.g., Procore).
  • White card.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel (~10%) and work on-site in Uralla.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible hours, including weekends/holidays if needed.
