Our company is seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager to lead our Central Sterilisation Department (CSD) Reprocessing product portfolio in Victoria. This role involves direct reporting to the National Sales Manager and is responsible for managing sales activities across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Territory Manager will oversee daily field sales responsibilities, representing the entire assigned product portfolio within a specific designated geographic territory.
  • New account generation where STERIS may not have a presence will be achieved through high sales activity and customer engagement.
  • The position requires cultivating existing and future revenue through ongoing support, education, demonstration, consultation, and sales processes with key accounts and targeted customers.
  • Maintaining thorough understanding of customer objectives, purchasing criteria, and decision-making processes relative to the market will help form long-term mutually beneficial customer partnerships.
  • Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives will be a priority.
  • Customer enquiries and needs related to the assigned product portfolio will be attended to promptly.
  • Travel will be required as necessary in an efficient and cost-effective manner to optimise portfolio exposure within a specific geographic territory.
  • Accurate correspondence, customer account records, customer database, and sales pipeline will be maintained within the corporate CRM system.
  • A Territory Business Plan will be developed with the National Sales Manager, and timely reporting will be completed.
  • Ongoing market/product/service research will provide feedback that may enhance the assigned product portfolio offering.
  • Sales and marketing strategies will be developed and implemented in conjunction with the National Sales Manager and Head of Sales to ensure alignment.
  • Participation in annual sales forecasting, business plan development, and established or opportunity mechanisms for increasing revenue within territory will be expected.
  • Attendance at exhibitions, conferences, and seminars as directed will be mandatory.
  • Interactions with other departments in the organisation will be necessary to ensure proper handling of customer requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and evaluating all product reliability issues in the assigned territory will be a key responsibility.
