Anaesthetics Trainee
Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced medical professional to join our anaesthetics team as an Anaesthetics Trainee. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in providing anaesthetic services in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will have a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be registrable with AHPRA. They will also have demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner for at least two years and have at least one year of experience in Anaesthetics. Additionally, they must exhibit clinical competency and ability to work independently in a supervised complex environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Preadmission Clinics, Acute Pain Service, and Clinical Emergency Response Service (CERs)
- Work under the supervision of senior medical staff to ensure responsibilities match clinical experience
- Meet ANZCA guidelines for trainees
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be registrable with AHPRA
- Demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner for at least two years
- At least one year of experience in Anaesthetics
- Clinical competency and ability to work independently in a supervised complex environment
