About the Role

As the Executive Director of Asset Management, you will oversee the strategic development and operational delivery of our asset management portfolio. Your focus will be on driving innovation, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer experience.

You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement asset improvement plans, ensuring that our assets are maintained to the highest standards and meet the needs of our customers. You will also work closely with government agencies and industry partners to represent our organization's interests and advance our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Asset Development - Develop and implement long-term corridor and rolling stock asset strategies that align with our service objectives and statewide transport vision.
  • Operational Excellence - Ensure that our assets are proactively managed to meet safety, performance, and customer expectations.
  • Rolling Stock Performance - Oversee the delivery of annual rolling stock maintenance plans and ensure the continuous improvement of fleet availability and reliability.
  • Network Engineering - Ensure that engineering standards meet safety and regulatory obligations while exploring new technology and contemporary methodologies and practices.
  • Infrastructure Asset Performance - Develop and implement asset improvements to minimize service disruptions and enhance the passenger experience.
  • Stakeholder Management - Represent our organization with government agencies, industry partners, regulators, and stakeholders on all matters relating to asset and network development.
Requirements:
  • A commercially-minded leader with extensive knowledge in asset management, infrastructure, or transport.
  • Proven track record of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, particularly within government.
  • Collaborative leadership style drives cross-functional alignment and accountability.
  • Passionate about leading business transformation and delivering transport infrastructure that positively impacts communities.
