Asset Management Executive

The role of Associate Director Assets is a high-profile position that requires strategic leadership and management skills. As the head of assets, you will oversee the department's tram assets, including new infrastructure projects, maintenance and renewal programs, and contract management plans.
Your key responsibilities will include managing complex rail or technology projects, demonstrating expertise in asset condition assessments and life cycle management, particularly for tram assets. You will also develop, review, and enhance tram asset information to optimize management strategies and renewal projects.
In addition to these tasks, you will oversee operator compliance with maintenance, renewal, and asset obligations, including escrow account management. Your advice will be sought by senior leaders to address complex issues and contribute to transport portfolio objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Leadership is a critical aspect of this position, requiring the ability to lead and support teams in a dynamic environment.
