We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Product Owner to join our team in APAC. This is an exciting opportunity for a product professional who can drive the development of high-impact digital solutions.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and deliver digital products that meet the needs of our insurance affinity partnerships. As a Digital Product Owner, you will be responsible for handling the product backlog, translating business needs into actionable features, and ensuring every release adds real value for clients and users.
About the Role:
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
- Capture and prioritize product requirements with partners, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate daily with engineering and design teams to deliver product increments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Use data and user feedback to inform product decisions and iterate on solutions.
- Maintain compliance with APAC-specific insurance regulations and data privacy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and prioritize product requirements with partners, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
- Own and handle the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver digital products that meet the needs of our insurance affinity partnerships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience in a product owner or business analyst role, ideally in digital, FinTech, or insurance sectors.
- Proven understanding of digital platforms, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
- Excellent partner leadership and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise language.
- Familiarity with product tools such as Jira, Confluence, and analytics dashboards.
- Bonus points for experience with APAC insurance regulations, GDPR, or cybersecurity standard processes.
