Senior Project Engineer/Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Engineer/Manager to lead and manage full project life cycles, from feasibility and design through to procurement, delivery, and handover.

  • Project management involves overseeing contractor management, procurement, cost control, and scheduling.
  • A strong track record in delivering capital projects within FMCG, food & beverage, or related manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) is required.
  • Proficiency in CAD and project management software is necessary for success.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage full project life cycles, from feasibility and design through to procurement, delivery, and handover.
  2. Oversee contractor management, procurement, cost control, and scheduling.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout all project phases.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with operational requirements.
  5. Develop and maintain project documentation, reporting, and post-project evaluations.
What We Are Looking For:
  • A strong track record in delivering capital projects within FMCG, food & beverage, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or similar).
  • Proficiency in CAD and project management software.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
