Job Description

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to make a real difference in the lives of others. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you can utilize your skills and experience to deliver exceptional service.

  • Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate
  • Provide clinical oversight and guide other team members in the blood collection process
  • Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
  • Set up machines and collections equipment
  • Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood and plasma
  • Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance
  • Monitor donors post-donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) qualification
  • A current AHPRA registration
  • Flexible and able to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
  • Possess excellent customer-facing skills and passion for delivering an exceptional service
