Plant Layout Design Expert Wanted

Our company seeks an experienced Plant Layout Designer to work in Perth, WA.

  • Develop high-quality plant layouts and detailed drawings as per project requirements.
  • Review vendor drawings and design data for accuracy.
  • Provide technical and design assistance to help resolve design issues in consultation with Lead Designer and Lead Engineer.
  • Maintain high levels of quality and accuracy in the design documentation produced for activities under their control.
  • Liaise with relevant personnel to produce accurate design documentation.
  • Design projects that involve multiple disciplines and ensure design coordination.
Requirements
  • A solid background in mineral processing and bulk materials handling projects.
  • Advanced Diploma of Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 10 years' experience in plant layout design.
  • Knowledge of current design and detail drafting standards.
  • Detailed knowledge of CAD design packages and systems (AutoCAD preferred).
  • Understanding of EPC and EPCM culture goals.
  • High level communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills in a design context.
  • Full and unrestricted Australian work rights.
