About the Role

As a Mining Supervisor, you will be responsible for shift planning and ensuring the effective execution of tasks by employees.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong initiative and communication skills. You will work closely with colleagues to optimize production and achieve business-critical outputs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a supervisor or leadership position within the mining industry. They should possess knowledge of OH&S legislation, risk management, and safety investigation practices.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for improving productivity and efficiency.
  • Supervise operators and provide pre-shift information, ensuring all necessary resources are available.
  • Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing adherence to company policies and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in a supervisor or leadership position within the mining industry.
  • Knowledge of OH&S legislation, risk management, and safety investigation practices.
  • Risk management experience.
  • Current driver's license.
  • RIIRIS402D - Carry out the risk management process.
  • RIICOM301D - Communicate Information.
