About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Fitter to join our team in Toowoomba. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing preventative and reactive maintenance to our rigs and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Mechanical Superintendent and Maintenance Manager in ensuring the seamless operation of our rig fleet
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel equipment
  • Collaborate with operations and field staff to resolve maintenance issues
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills

About You
  • Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience in the Oil and Gas/Minerals sector is advantageous
  • Proven ability to fault-find and troubleshoot under pressure
