Engine Repair and Maintenance Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to specialize in engine repairs and maintenance for our Toowoomba branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers across various industries, including automotive, mining, and power generation.
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products, including on-call roster duties.
  • Diagnose and repair engines, inspect and replace components as needed.
  • Perform engine rebuilding and reconditioning tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies, reporting any issues or incidents to the Service Supervisor.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trades qualification, preferably in Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, or Plant Mechanic.
  • Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
  • Ideal possession of engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge.
  • Hitachi, Komatsu, and Liebherr experience highly desirable.
  • Solid diagnostic capabilities with the aid of computer systems.
