At Catholic Healthcare, we are seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse to join our team at St Francis Aged Care. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled nurse to provide high-quality clinical care to residents and work closely with the care manager to deliver individualized person-centered care.

  • As a registered nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a high standard of nursing clinical care to residents
  • Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will possess a kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly. You will also have current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Competent IT skills
