Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fashion Buyer to join our Commercial team for the Home & Beauty category. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, maximising profit, and managing inventory levels to ensure we deliver the best customer-facing assortment in the market.

About the Role:
  • You will support the department strategy, vision, and budget planning, working closely with the Senior Category Buyer and Planning team.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and products in the e-commerce industry, making recommendations on product and brand selection.
  • You will monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, assist in the selection and deactivation process, and negotiate favourable terms and conditions for contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor details, including brand plans, SKU lists, and department brand profile matrix.
  • Analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement in the customer onsite experience.
About You:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Junior Buyer or Assistant Buyer in a high-volume business.
  • Skilled in Excel reporting, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A strong team player who embodies our company's values and principles.
