A dynamic opportunity to join a leading Australian luxury fashion brand as a Senior Fashion Buyer.

About the Role

As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for purchasing existing product lines while utilizing sound analytics and innovative ideas to provide strategic growth plans. You will work closely with designers to develop pre-season ranges, provide regular feedback on sales, trends, competitors, and areas of opportunity, and review and align product strategy based on business performance and market analysis.

About the Skills and Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of retail buying experience gained within a fashion and/or luxury environment;
  • Experience working with an international brand with 50 plus stores;
  • Experience in range building and product development;
  • Strong eye for luxury products;
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen;
  • Proven ability to drive results;
  • Forecasting and analytical experience - ability to run detailed reports, strong analytical skills, with a strong aptitude for numbers;
  • Proficient in Excel with demonstrated ability to create excel-based reports and templates;
  • Experience with a retail management system like AP21.
