Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all logistics functions from commercial term negotiation to customs and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic plans and policies for the organisation as they relate to the logistics function.
  • Monitor and report on warehouse system and process effectiveness.
  • Negotiate and maintain competitive transport costs.
  • Liaise with other departments and service providers for matters concerning outward/inward goods.
  • Manage the procurement of non-stock items with a focus on cost reduction.
  • Manage warehouse capacity forecasting.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimisation.
  • Support management in all business initiatives.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5+ years logistics management experience.
  • Retail industry experience highly regarded.
  • Proven success in achieving beneficial commercial terms.
  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Natural affinity for picking up and training others on new systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
