Are you looking for a new challenge in the telecommunications industry?

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician to join our team and play a key role in upgrading and modifying wireless telecommunications sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing wireless network equipment, including 4G/5G base stations, hybrid feeder systems, fibre and microwave transmission, fibre optics, DC power systems, and site integrations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications or electrical engineering, with experience in sweep testing, PIM testing, optical power testing, and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade and modify existing wireless telecommunications sites
  • Install wireless network equipment
  • Test and commission all relevant equipment
  • Read and interpret drawings, design documentation, product and client specifications
  • Assist the rigging team where necessary

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Telecommunications Technician
  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree in telecommunications or electrical engineering highly regarded
  • Proficient in sweep testing, PIM testing, optical power testing
  • Safe working attitude
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Working at heights and elevated work platform tickets (desirable)
  • Senior First Aid/ CPR (desirable)
