Personal Carer Coach

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Personal Carer Coach to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing guidance, support, leadership, and training to caregivers, helping them develop their skills and manage the challenges of their roles.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized coaching and support to caregivers, empowering them to deliver high-quality care to individuals in need. This will involve conducting training sessions on client-specific requirements and equipment, as well as tracking progress and providing feedback to ensure quality of care is maintained.

  • Providing guidance and support to caregivers to assist them in delivering exceptional care
  • Offering a supportive environment for caregivers to share their experiences, concerns, and emotions, and providing advice and encouragement
  • Conducting training on client-specific requirements and equipment
  • Tracking the progress of caregivers and providing feedback to ensure quality of care
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care, with exposure to dementia care, palliative care, and end-of-life care
  • CERT III in Individual Support is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in using equipment related to Aged Care (lifting hoists, mobility, disability, and rehabilitation equipment)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate caregivers
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage time effectively
  • A valid Australian driver's license and a reliable car and mobile phone are also required
