As a key stakeholder in the project delivery process, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective governance and timely completion of projects.You will provide assurance services, including project establishment guidance, best practice governance, Project Health Checks and Stage Gate Reviews, to support project delivery across the Fund.The position requires a trusted advisor who can offer guidance and challenge to projects where needed. You will work closely with senior managers from various groups to maintain the Fund's Project Delivery Framework and manage its continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include developing an annual project assurance plan based on the Fund-wide project portfolio, collaborating with sponsors to ensure their projects are successful, participating in Project Steering Committees, and ensuring adherence to AustralianSuper's Policies, Standards, Procedures, Decision Registers and delegated authorities.Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring relevant legislative and organisational requirements are met by keeping up to date on all key changes to relevant regulations that impact project delivery.Requirements for this role include a tertiary degree (or equivalent) in project management, risk management, business, finance or IT from a recognised institution, certification in project management methodologies, 7+ years' experience in professional services, preferably in superannuation, insurance, banking & finance or consultancy, and 3+ years' experience in a similar role responsible for the provision of assurance or audit services.A strong background and knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and best practices, as well as the ability to overcome resistance to change and achieve compliance with standards, practices and quality expectations, are also essential.
