Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our operations.

  • This position will be responsible for overseeing all welding activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • The successful candidate will liaise with NDT Contractors and review all documentation.
  • They will also oversee all coating activities carried out post-fabrication and conduct inspections as required.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Quality Assurance Specialist will be involved in validating and controlling quality records, conducting internal audits, and implementing project quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all welding activities to ensure compliance with WPS, WPQR, client & code requirements.
  2. Liaise with NDT Contractors and review all documentation.
  3. Conduct inspections of coating activities post-fabrication to ensure compliance with client & code requirements.
  4. Validate and control quality records for the project.
  5. Conduct internal audits to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  6. Implement project quality management systems.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in the structural steel sector.
  • AS1796 Certificate 10 in Welding Supervision (highly desirable).
  • Experience with FIC & MDR documentation compilation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
